In this class, we will begin discussing ARIES and recovery. This is a long and difficult paper; we will spend the better part of two lectures on it. You will want to start early, and focus on understand the core recovery protocol. The Franklin paper assigned for lecture 10 also includes a good summary of the essentials of the ARIES algorithm.
